      Care & Maintenance

NanoCure protectants will keep your vehicle’s showroom beauty intact for many years. Here are a few key tips to help make the luster last:

          • Wash regularly, keeping your vehicle’s exterior clean
          • Prevent contaminants such as tree sap, insect damage or bird droppings from remaining on treated surfaces for extended amounts of time
          • Wipe up spills on the interior surfaces as quickly as possible

        Frequently asked questions

        Exterior

Is it safe to wash my car after it’s been treated with this exterior protectant?

Yes, we recommend washing your vehicle regularly. Do not allow corrosive materials such as road salt, de-icing chemicals, tree sap, bird droppings, etc. to remain on the painted surfaces for long periods.

What should I know before I wash my treated vehicle by hand?

Use a good quality car wash soap available at any auto parts store. Do not use dishwashing soap, degreasers, laundry soap or any other types of acidic or caustic cleaners. Use a new sponge, microfiber towel or soft microfiber wash mitt to loosen any dirt or contaminants, then rinse the vehicle thoroughly with tap water. Dry it immediately with a clean microfiber towel or chamois. Do not wash your vehicle in direct sunlight; wash it in a shaded area.

Can I take my treated vehicle to a commercial car wash?

Yes, just make sure that it uses soft-touch microfiber brushes that will not scratch the paint when washing or drying your vehicle.

        Interior

How should I clean up spills on my treated interior surfaces?

Blot liquid spills instead of wiping to prevent deep staining.

What types of retail cleaning products can I use for spot-cleaning my treated interior surfaces?

Most laundry stain removers can be used for removing stains from your vehicle’s interior surfaces. Be sure to completely follow the directions listed on the chosen product.

What types of products should I avoid using on my vehicle’s treated interior surfaces?

Avoid using harsh, abrasive or non-automotive cleaners, as well as solvent-based cleaners containing mineral spirits, bleach or ammonia.

Do I need to reapply vehicle protectants to my interior surfaces after I leave the dealership?

There is no need to re-apply protectants to your vehicle, except in the case of body damage that resulted in repainting.

Are these protectants safe for my family?

Yes. Our protectants are water-based, biodegradable and have zero Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC).

How often do I need to retreat my vehicle?

There is no need to regularly re-apply protectants to your vehicle, as treatments are designed to last the lifetime of your vehicle, except in the case of body damage that resulted in repainting.

Are these protectants safe for my family?

Yes. Our protectants are water-based, biodegradable and have zero Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC).

Do NanoCure Interior Protectants include any allergens?

NanoCure Interior Protectants do not include any known allergens.

Where do I go to reapply vehicle protectant, and how much does it cost?

Reapplication is only necessary when your vehicle has body damage that results in repainting and related restoration. After the recommended paint curing period (30 days), contact your insurance company to request reapplication through your original vehicle dealer. If the dealer is unable to provide the service, we will direct you to a nearby authorized dealer for reapplication at no charge.

Do I need to reapply vehicle protectant to my vehicle if either a “cut and buff” or clay bar treatment is performed?

If, as the result of a NanoCure repair claim, your vehicle’s paint receives a “cut and buff,” a clay bar treatment or related restorative treatment, we will provide a reapplication of your protectant at no charge. For reapplication, we will direct you to your original vehicle dealer or a nearby authorized dealer.
